A 1912 home built by William and Carrie Clarke, now a small city park and museum run by the Historical Society of Orange Park. The house and Magnolia Cemetery are open for guided tours the second Sunday of every month, 2–4 PM — the rest of the week it's just a quiet park with a playground, nature trails, and oak-shaded picnic spots. About 10 minutes from the hotel.

A 1,750-seat performing arts venue on the St. Johns River State College campus — touring Broadway, concerts, comedy, and family shows, plus the Orange Park Community Theatre. Check the calendar before you visit; about 15 minutes from the hotel.

A small Clay County park on Doctors Lake with a 320-foot fishing pier, a covered picnic area, and a boat ramp and kayak launch onto the lake — which connects out to the St. Johns River and Black Creek. Bring a rod or a paddle; about 15 minutes from the hotel on Fleming Island.
